How to set up a biking tour

Biking provides an easy and fantastic way to discover the real Vietnam. More than anything else, biking brings us close to the country's greatest treasure, its people. Seeing their smiles of welcome and enjoying their warm greetings is always such a heart-delighted joy.

We can set off our scenic ride around the tranquil countryside of Red River Delta or Mekong Delta, spend as much time as we like to admire Vietnam's beautiful coastline and hit the crowded towns in Hanoi, Hue, Hoi an or Saigon for delightful culture discovery. For something more challenging, we can extend our journey to rocky mountain trails of the northwest or red dirt tracks of Central Highlands.

Riding from Hanoi to Saigon is one of Asia's classic biking journeys.  It is absolutely possible to customize the journey to fit our time frame. New border crossings are now open in the far reaches of Laos and Cambodia, making it much more fascinating to explore even the whole Indochina on our bikes. No mass tours, more newly discovered not-in-guidebooks back roads and especially non-cyclists are more warmly welcome than ever.

BIKING PERMITS:
Asia Aventura holds all necessary permits to enter and stay overnight in remote mountain villages and areas through permits granted by local authority.

We mostly cycle on backroads and trails that are used by the local villagers. We reschedule itineraries in remote areas if the weather turns bad and roads become dangerous. Your customer’s safety and well-being is our top priority. All our biking tours are fully supported.

GROUP SIZE:

In order to minimize our impact on the local communities and environment we do not travel in groups larger than 15 people.
