When should you go kayaking in Ba Be?

The best time to go kayaking in Ba Be is from March to May. Firstly,you go along Nang River and enter the lake through the Puong Cave, continue to paddle to Dang Water Fall, a chance to jump into the emeraude cool water of the lake and swim. We then paddle back to Ba Be lake and finish your wonderful trip.

As one of the world's biggest natural lakes, the surface area of Ba Be Lake expands to 500ha during the wet season and never falls dry even at the peak of the dry season, making it ideal for a relaxing kayak.

This tour brings in a glimpse of Vietnam and a taste of Cambodia. The journey starts out in the 1000-year-old city of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam with rich history and sensational cuisine. It then gets off tourist trails and travels inland for 4 days in  beautiful Pu Luong nature reserve with trekking between hilltribe villages, meeting the local people and enjoying a homestay in these remote communities.
